Mooncake fine art print

This artwork was made to celebrate the Mid Autumn festival also known as Mooncake festival.

Making and sharing mooncakes is one of the hallmark traditions of this festival. In Chinese culture, a round shape symbolizes completeness and reunion. Thus, the sharing and eating of round mooncakes among family members during the week of the festival signifies the completeness and unity of families. The Jade rabbit symbolizes selflessness and devotion.  :) 

This is a print of an original gouache painting measuring 4x6 inches. Printed with a Canon PixmaPro 100 and ships in a recycled, stiff cardboard backing and protective plastic sleeve.
